How can you get involved on Sunday 24th June 2012?

There are lots of ways to be involved ...

  • If you have a group who already hold regular walks for greyhounds and lurchers then why not hold one on 26 June?.
  • If you are in an area that has no walks how about organising one for 26th June?  2010 saw a lot of people organise a walk for the first time and many of those now have a regular walk.
  • If you're a greyhound or lurcher owner interested in joining a walk in your area, keep an eye on the website to see if there's a walk round your way and contact your local rehoming group to see if they're arranging a walk.  You can also let us have your details on the contact form and we'll keep you up to date.
  • If you can't join a larger walk why not have your own 'Little Local Walk' a 'micro' walk with you and maybe a few greyhound chums ... let us know where you are though as every greyhound counts!

Email us for more information and we can send you a help pack and lots of encouragement!

There's no charge to register and we give as much support as you need including promotion materials and FAQ's for putting a walk together plus some ideas of how you can extend your event to make it a very special day.

There's a press release you can use if you want to involve the media ... all available on the
Great British Greyhound Walk Forum

We need you to register! - whether you want to do a 'Little Local Walk' for just you and a few greyhound chums, or a bigger 'as many as you can get to come' walk do get in touch so we can put you on the map and count you in on the day ... email gbgw@greyhoundwalks.org.uk
